Feldwebel Baer was a German NCO stationed in Yugoslavia. He served under Hauptmann Neufeld. When Neufeld and his Cetnik associate Captain Droshny were imprisoned by Force 10, Baer, who'd followed them, freed the two. He later accompanied them as they tracked the Allies, carrying Neufeld's radio for him so he could remain in contact with General Zimmerman. Baer's ultimate fate is unknown; he didn't go with Neufeld and Droshny to the dam.
